Sack Lunch Sign Up - Blanchet House Cafe and Bethanie's Room

ABOUT
Sack lunch making is an at-home volunteer and donation project. Sack lunches are given out nightly at Bethanie's Room women's shelter, and every Saturday at Blanchet House's cafe. All sack lunch ingredients are purchased by the volunteer. 

SIGN UP

  • The calendar below is for both locations. Please note the correct drop-off location.
  • Select a day and time you want to make and drop off sack lunches. 
  • Slots = # of lunches needed. You will enter the quantity you plan on making when you complete your sign-up. 


DROP OFF 
  • BETHANIE'S ROOM: Mon-Sun, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m at 1015 NW 17th Ave.
  • BLANCHET HOUSE: Mon-Sat, 8 - 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 - 4 p.m. at 310 NW Glisan St. Saturday sack lunches must be dropped off before 10:30 a.m. 

HOW TO
Our how-to guide will be emailed to you after you sign up. Questions? Email volunteer@blanchethouse.org with questions.

  • SANDWICH: PB&J or other type of deli meat sandwich. There are no food restrictions.
  • FRUIT: Fruit cup, cut or soft fruit. NO apples.
  • SNACK: Packaged chips, string cheese, cookie, granola bar, or nonperishable snack.
  • BROWN BAG: Basic lunch bag. People like to decorate the bags with words of love or encouragement.
